Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 35 years for S.No – 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 and 45 years for S.No-3 & five years age relaxations in upper age limit will be given to JNU departmental candidates for Group-B & C not applicable for Group-A Posts. Age relaxations for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.A in any discipline of Social Sciences for S.No-1, 12th standard pass for S.No-2, PG/ Equivalent degree in Hindi from any recognized university with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade & english as a subject at degree level for S.No-3, M.Lib.Sc/ MLIS/ Masters degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce & B.Lib.Sc/ BLIS with 50% marks PG/ Diploma for S.No- 4, for remaining posts refer the given link…
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.500/- (non-refundable) for Group ‘A’ Posts, Rs 300/- (non refundable) for Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ Posts Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Finance officer, JNU” payable at New Delhi (SBI, JNU New Campus Branch, New Delhi-11007, Branch code-10441). No fee for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible and Interested candidates can apply on-line in the format available in the University website www.jnu.ac.in. Applications, except on-line, will not be accepted. Applicants are also required to submit the hard copy, i.e. signed copy of the online application along with the prescribed application fee, one latest passport size photograph affixed in the application form and signed across on it (the stappled photograph will not be accepted) and self-attested copies of the certificates of educational qualifications, D.O.B, experience, Caste certificate, identity proof (Election I-Card/ UID Aadhar/ PAN etc.) to Dy.
