The Border Security Force (BSF) dispatch the offical advertisement to recruit the 80 posts of Head Constable and Constable for their force.Till 1965 India’s borders with Pakistan were manned by the State Armed Police Battalion. Pakistan attacked Sardar Post, Chhar Bet and Beria Bet on 9 April, 1965 in Kutch. This exposed the inadequacy of the State Armed Police to cope with armed aggression due to which the Government of India felt the need for a specialized centrally controlled Border Security Force, which would be armed and trained to man the International Border with Pakistan. BSF Recruitment 2014 Eligibility details:-

Academic Qualification:-
Matriculation or equivalent with relevant ITI Certificates.

Age Limitation:-

• Age relaxation as per the applicable rules.
• 18 years to 25 years as on last date for submission of application.

Examination fee:-

• No fee for SC/ ST/ BSF & EXS candidates.
• Rs. 50/- for others.
• Deposit through Demand Draft/ Postal Order in favour of relevant places mentioned in notification

Applying Process:-

• 2 self addressed envelopes of Size 25×12 cms with postage worth Rs.39/-.
• Application form should be filled in the prescribed format.
• Envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF GROUP-C POSTS (COMBATANT) IN BSF ENGG SET UP (CIVIL) & NDRF BNS 2014-15″.
• Send envelope to Concerned Headquarters, under which the State falls.
