Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling up the 844 vacancies of Sub Inspector of Police posts for the Combined Police service Examination 2013. Interested Candidates may apply online from 09th December, 2013 to 08th January, 2014. Name of posts : 
1. Sub Inspector of Police: 675 Posts
2. Seregeant of Police: 33 Posts
3. Deputy Sebedar: 84 Posts
4. Station Officer (Fire Service): 52 Posts

Eligibility criteria : 

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Obtained Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University. Fire Service Candidates must be a Science or Engineering Graduation from a recognized University for Station Officer post.


Age limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not crossed the age of 25 years as on 01/01/2013.


Selection Process : Selection shall be made on the basis of performance in Preliminary Examination, Physical Test & Viva-voice test.


Examination Fee : 
1. SEBC & Unreserved Candidates need to pay Rs. 100/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates are exempted from application fee.
